General Information
Ocean Breeze is located in the residential zone in the small, safe community of Rincon de Guayabitos It is located across the street from the ecological park; a block and half from the beach; and walking distance to a variety of restaurants, shops and bars.
This is the closest access from Ocean Breeze to the beach . The bridge takes you over the estuary.
The sandy beaches are vast and swimming conditions in the bay are some of the safest around.
The miles of beach along the Bay of Jaltemba are never crowded and have a variety of fisherman and venders selling fresh seafood, baked goods, fruit, candy, ice cream, gifts and tours.
There are plenty of small bars and eateries along the beach where one can get a quick snack, lunch and a drink.
One can walk the road to downtown Guayabitos or call a cab and for 30 to 40 pesos make it a quick trip.
The town square is used for town meetings and wonderful outdoor concerts. It is located at the beginning of downtown Guayabitos. It has recently been renovated and looks much different now.
If we feel a little more adventurous, we can hike over the “Bridge of Life” to the lively little city of La Penita.
The road to the beach

There are also many larger restaurants offering a full menu for breakfast, dinner and supper along the beach or in town.
Downtown Guayabitos offers many shopping opportunities and the shops are open well into the night.
Guayabitos' Tianguis (open-air Market) is held every Monday down a side street in downtown Guayabitos. Early mornings are the best time to go.
The Hotel zone is at the far end of the main street or the far end of the bay if you are on the beach.
La Penita is famous for its open-air market (Tianguis) every Thursday and its friendly people. Mornings are the best time to shop. The small city has numerous businesses that includes a new hospital, drug store and many specialty shops that offer everything we may need.
If bright lights and the Malecon is what we crave, there is comfortable and dependable bus and taxi service to and from Puerto Vallarta allowing us or our family and friends to experience the best of both worlds.
